• Direct Communications: Messages and connection requests exchanged between users on Start It.
• Usage & Technical Data: Device data, browser information, IP address, and interaction metrics to protect account integrity.

2. How We Protect Your Data (Data Security)

We employ modern security practices to ensure your pitches and private conversations remain confidential:

• Row Level Security (RLS): Every private table (including messages, notifications, and applications) is locked down via database-level policies so only authorized participants can access them.
• Encrypted in Transit & Rest: All data transmitted to and from Start It is encrypted via TLS 1.3, with industry-standard encryption at rest.
• No Selling of Personal Data: We never sell your personal information or pitch ideas to third-party data brokers or advertisers.

3. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You retain control over your data. Under applicable privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to:

• Access and export your profile, pitches, and application history.
• Modify or update your personal information at any time from your Account Settings.
• Permanently delete your account and all associated personal data via our instant self-service deletion workflow.
